SBI PO Exam Pattern for 2022
There are three steps to the SBI PO selection procedure. The written tests are given online, and an interview round follows. Exams are structured as follows: SBI PO Preliminary Examination, Phase 1
The applicants for this online test get one hour to complete the 100-point question paper. Three sections make up the exam. The sectional cut-off in the preliminary exam has been eliminated, and candidates will now only be chosen for the next stage based on their overall score in all areas. The Bank determines the minimum score required to pass each component each year based on how challenging the test is. A candidate will lose 0.25 points for each incorrectly answered question they attempt. If a candidate skips a question or leaves it blank, there will be no point deduction.
Selection criteria for the Main Examination: Based on the overall score in the Preliminary Exam, a merit list will be compiled for each category. No sectional cut-off will exist. The top candidates on the merit list—roughly 10 times the number of openings in each category—will be chosen to take the Main Examination.

1. The objective paper is due in three hours, and the descriptive paper is due in thirty.
2. There will be four components in the objective portion: English Language, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General/Economic/Banking Awareness, and Reasoning and Computer Aptitude.
3. In addition to the online test indicated above, a descriptive paper with two questions will be given.
4. A candidate would lose 0.25 points for each incorrectly answered question they tried in the SBI PO Mains Exam. If a candidate leaves a question on the test unanswered or blank, there will be no point deduction.

(i)Objective Test: The objective test, which lasts three hours and comprises of four sections for a total of 200 marks. Every segment of the objective test will have its own time.
(ii) Descriptive Test: A test of English language will be administered during the Descriptive Test, which will last 30 minutes and consist of two questions (Letter Writing & Essay).
Recruitment Process
A candidate who passes the SBI PO 2022 Preliminary and Main Exams will also be invited to a GD-PI session, where they will speak with a panel of selectors about their prior experiences and answer questions on general knowledge and the banking industry. For a candidate to be selected for the SBI PO 2022 Exam, they must successfully complete the interview process. The Bank will determine the qualifying marks for this round, and the marks assigned to these rounds are: 20 points for a group discussion; 30 points for an interview.
Last Decision The State Bank of India will create a merit list once a candidate has completed Personal Interviews, taking into consideration both the individual's performance on the Mains Exam and the Interview Round. Final cut-off scores will be announced based on candidates' scores and the number of open positions. State Bank of India shall provide the Appointment Letter for the position of Probationary Officer to those applicants who meet the cut-off range.
